Windy Acres lavender and bee farm

Welcome to Windy Acres

A family owned lavender and bee farm located on the Darling Downs in Queensland.

We started this journey with a vision to create a sustainable business that supports our local community and the environment.

Our passion for bees and lavender - and the beautiful way they work together - was the reason why we started this dream and now we’re looking forward to sharing it with you.

Sponsor a hive

Do you love bees as much as we do? Opportunities exist for you to sponsor a hive at Windy Acres.

By sponsoring a hive, you will be helping to contribute to the local bee population, which will benefit local farms through the pollination of flowers.

Your hive will feature your branding and we will feature your business on our social media pages.

Bees + Lavender

A match made in heaven

Lavender is a bee magnet - they love the the pollen and nectar that lavender produces. The lavender also benefits from the bees (we love how nature gets it right) by being pollinated. That’s why Windy Acres brings these two remarkable elements of nature together.

Although our journey is just beginning, Windy Acres has already been featured in articles by media outlets.
