Treatments are carried out by a Certified & Licensed Beekeeper, giving you confidence that your hives are being managed professionally with accurate records for future hive health management.

You’ll be given a proposed course of treatment

Oxalic acid vapour only targets Varroa mites on adult bees. Mites hidden inside capped brood cells are protected until the young bees emerge. If brood is present, additional treatments are often required over several weeks to target mites as they leave the brood cells. The number of treatments recommended will depend on your colony's brood levels and mite monitoring results.

Our Process

Choose your treatment package

Once you receive your quote and recommended treatment plan, choose based on your preferences.

Book your treatment

We will book your treatment asap. Varroa won’t wait, the sooner you start your treatment the sooner you can get on top of it and the better chance of successful treatment.

Treatment and follow up

After the initial treatment, we will recommend whether further follow-up is needed. Usually, the vapour treatment will need to be scheduled weekly for 4 weeks. We will also provide you with a report and management recommendations.
